Ted P Fix Sr., a resident of Dash Point, Washington for 10 years, was born on July 7th 1940 in Astoria Oregon. Ted’s first passion was the United States Marine Core where he served with honor and compassion. Later in life he went to work for General Dynamics where he serviced the Striker vehicles for the military. Afterwards he went into business for himself and finished out his working years in construction. He loved to spend his free time fishing for salmon, working on vehicles and spending quality time with his family and friends. Yet, if you didn’t find him holding a fishing rod, or elbow deep in an engine, you would find him with his nose in a book. Ted never stopped learning new things. He had several degrees in engineering, business, law, drafting, mechanics, and electronics just to name few.
Ted lived an amazing life. He was a wonderful father and a faithful friend who loved his family and lived his faith hoping that each of us would find our own.
Ted was survived by his son, Ted P. Fix Jr (Wendy); daughter, Sherri Braaton (Jeramia); four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
