Ron was born in Dickenson North Dakota and passed away peacefully at the age of 63 after a year battling cancer. Ron was a loving son, brother, uncle and a kind friend to all. He recently retired after 34 years working for Tacoma Public School District, working at various schools throughout the district, finishing at Angelo Giaudrone his final 13 years of employment. There he made lasting friendships with fellow workers and school staff. He diligently served 24 years as union president of Local 302. Ron enjoyed playing disc golf, fishing, and various trips to Montana and North Dakota, as well as out of the country. Ron reminisced about his trip to Europe with his buddy Ed, specifically, playing disc golf in Switzerland.
Ron is preceded in this life by his nephew Jonathan Borchers; he is survived by his long-term partner Linda Long, mother Marge Millin, brother Jeff Millin(Brenda), sisters Jackie Borchers(Rick) and Michel Lindsey(Ken), nephews Justin Borchers, Nathaniel Millin, Garret Millin and his faithful fur baby Abby.
Ron enjoyed treating himself to a good craft beer while sitting on the deck at the Lawrence Lake Cabin watching the sunset. He is at peace.
Services will be held at Weeks’ Dryer Mortuary with a reception to follow.
