Ona Lee Burnside, 90 of Roy, Washington, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2021. She was born May 9, 1930 in Tacoma, Washington to Charles and Clara James. Ona grew up in Little Rock, Washington, and married her love Jack on February 29, 1947. Together they made a beautiful life in Roy. Ona loved camping, traveling, catching the rodeo with the neighbor boys, and going out dancing with her husband of 57 years. In her later years she loved playing games and cards with her great grandkids, taking walks, sitting out enjoying the yard, and telling stories.
Those left to remember Ona’s love are her son Byron Lee Burnside and wife Robyn; daughter Clara Christine Hammel and husband Larry; and daughter-in-law Vickie Burnside. Ona is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Burnside; sons Raymond and John Burnside; and sisters Winnie and Toots.

A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2021 at 1:00pm at Cowboy Baptist Church in Roy, WA.
