Lloyd Charles Emery

Lloyd Charles Emery was born June 28, 1948 in Chewelah, Washington to Glen and Rosalie Emery.  He lost his battle with cancer on April 4, 2021.  He graduated from Eatonville High School in 1966.  After high school, he went to work for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and in 1992, retired after 26 years’ service.  He then started his own business installing septic systems and doing other excavation site work.  He retired a 2nd time in 2012.

He loved the outdoors.  Hunting season was not about whether he got anything, but the time spent with family and friends as well as seeing others bag their deer.  He also enjoyed just spending time at the cabin in the Upper Entiat Valley.

He is survived by his wife Jill, children Jason (Kelley) Emery, Corey (April) Emery, Calvin (Melissa) Emery and Stephanie (Ryan) Lindsay, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers John (Beverly) Emery, Randy (Teresa) Emery and Clay (Sharron) Jamerson, his sister Gale (Eugene) Shumacher and their families.

His memorial service will be 11:00 AM April 17, 2021 at Weeks’ Dryer Mortuary in Parkland.   Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is limited and is by family invitation only.  There will be an Open House/Reception from 1 – 4 PM April 17, 2021 at the family home in Eatonville.  For the address and/or directions, please email Jill (mobile.jillemery@gmail.com) or Melissa (melissajoyemery@gmail.com).
