Jean Kathleen Belden

Jean Kathleen Belden died on August 19, 2018.  She was 78 years old.  Born in May of 1940 to William and Elda Belden, Jean was always a child at heart who loved the simple things in life.  She rose with the sun each morning to greet the world and attend morning chapel services.  Jean loved to raise her voice to God and sing. Everything from a heavenly hymn to “You Are My Sunshine” was fair game to her musical soul.  She loved putting together puzzles and playing board games with her nieces and nephews. She loved to love, laugh, and enjoy life.  And though she never married she had more than enough family with which to share love and life.  Those who will remember her best are her brothers, W. Ray and James Belden; her nieces and nephews, Jeff Belden, Mary Belden-McGrath, Philip Belden, Deanna Franks, Chrystal Belden-Moody, and Rick Belden; as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews.  Her kind heart and gentle soul will be missed.  A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday August 30, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  Time for reflection and the gathering of family will take place at the Franks family home following the service.
