Harriett D. Williamson: Harriett passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 97. She was born on October 8th, 1923 to Lloyd and Ida Phillips in Fort Dodge Iowa. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and her stepbrother Larry Phillips, and stepsister Arla Dahl. On November 8th, 1942 she married the love of her life, Erling A. Williamson in Albert Lee, Mn. She was a loving wife to Erling for 65 years until his passing on January 13th, 2007. During that time Harriett gave birth to and raised 4 children: Dianne of Lancaster SC, Rodney (Connie) of Lyle, MN, Jeffery of Puyallup WA, and Timothy (Theresa) of Brookings OR. She leaves behind 7 Grand Children, 10 Great Grand Children, and 4 Great Great Grand Children. In 1945 Harriett and Erling moved to Lyle MN to operate their own plumbing business. In 1969 they moved the family to Tacoma WA where Erling took a Civil Service job, and Harriet remained a Homemaker. In 1987 they retired and began traveling to Lake Havasu each winter and returning to enjoy many weekends camping and fishing at Mineral Lake. She loved meeting many of their friends for morning coffee at McDonald's. Harriett was a kind and gentle soul. She was an accomplished cook and baker and loved to prepare many Norwegian treats and dishes for the family, especially her coveted Norwegian Kringle. She will be greatly missed by many. We wish to thank all of those who took great care of Harriett these past few weeks. No service is planned due to current restrictions. Harriett will be interned with Erling at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent WA.
