Gerald Roy Nelson

We all have been given gifts. One of ours, Gerald Roy Nelson, son of Roy and June (Ingerson) Nelson of Tacoma, WA. Jerry graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962 and proceeded to join the Navy. After completing his tour he worked for Tacoma Screw Products for 35 years. Jerry passed on March 24, 2022, leaving behind his wife of 35 years, Kathleen Hill Burg Nelson; daughters, Kimberly Meade (Mark) and Kristin Burg Hamner; sister, Gail George (Don) of Oklahoma and sister-in-law, Gayle Ruffoorn Nelson (Ron, deceased). A military burial service will be held on April 27, Wednesday at 12:30pm; a memorial service will be held on April 28, Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. All are welcome to celebrate the life of Jerry Nelson at the military burial service, as well as the memorial service.
