Obituary

Dorothy Mae Holloman was born in Tallulah, Louisiana.  Beloved first child of Edward "Buck" Thompson and Velma Boone Thompson.  Dorothy was a resident of Tacoma for many years and raised her six children to adulthood with the help of her husband, Roy Holloman and close friends.  She is survived by one sister, Betty Johnson-Carter.  She is also survived by five of her children; Lois A. Stokes, Darlene Scott, Rebecca Reed, Eric Reed and Ronald Reed.  Her son, Otis Reed Junior proceeded her into death.

Dorothy was a strong and faithful Christian throughout her life.  She was a generous philanthropist and Leader in Tacoma.  She could always be counted on to motivate members to raise their voices in praise and dedication.  We ask that you pray for her to know peace at the feet of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
