David Allyn Metzinger

David Allyn Metzinger was born on September 6th, 1954 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Donald and Phyllis. He passed away on May 31st, 2022 in Fort Lewis, Washington. David was a proud member of the United States Army. He also spent his time restoring his 1970 Mach 1 Ford Mustang. His service will be on June 21st at 9am at Tahoma National Cemetery.

David was survived by the living, which includes his daughter Cathryn, her husband Charles, and granddaughter Echo who was also his dancing and karaoke partner at the local Yelm Moose lodge. Also survived by his son Richard along with his two fabulous younger brothers Dale and Bill whom enjoyed trying to rile David up on family trips, with little success, and have added the word “fabulous” preceding their mention.
