Cameron Kestner Obituary

Cameron Andrew Kestner, cherished son, brother, grandson, cousin, and soldier, passed away on November 10, 2022. He was born on April 24, 2001, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to parents Stewart Andrew Kestner and  Bethany Kae Norman. Cameron has three brothers and one sister, Ethan William Otto Kestner, Andrew Michael Kestner, Trent Lewis Kestner, Vayda Aly Villegas, and grew up with a large extended family.

Cameron lived life to the fullest, enjoying paintball, camping, shooting, MMA, playing MTG, wrestling, cars, and being the leader of the Kestner boys. He graduated high school from Governor John R Rogers HS in 2019.

From a young age, Specialist Kestner had a warrior heart and dreamed of being a soldier. Joining the US Army after graduation, he chose to join the Infantry and was assigned to the  1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team. Shooting a 40 out of 40 on his rifle qualification, he earned the nickname “Top Gun”.

Cameron’s quiet strength, kindness, smile, and loving heart, will be missed by all who know him. He has instilled in all of us a desire to be better people. We love you Cameron, rest easy, and may God be with you til we meet again.
