Joe
Died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Puyallup WA
Born on February 6, 1954, in Tamuning, Guam
Born of Josefa Mansapit
Joe was like the ultimate God-Father to his very close-knit, but overbearingly huge family. He helped provide and take care of many people within several generations. He had a very successful career with Bon Marche-Macy’s that allowed him to comfortably retire. Some of his extracurricular hobbies throughout the years include Golf, Racquet Ball, and Tennis. As the head of the family, he was very well respected. Anytime he asked for anything, people would drop what they are doing to get it done for him. When anyone is in trouble or needs advice, he would be the person that could help point you in the right path. Along with being exceptionally smart, charismatic, loving, funny, and gentle, he was also very giving. He loved to shop, but it wasn’t just for himself, it was for the people that he loved. He will be sorely missed by many.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Katherine Cruz. Sisters Rosa Taijeron, Maria Garrido, and Cecilia Lomarda. Sister-in-law Barbara Mansapit. With many more Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews to count that all loved him very dearly.
Joe is preceded in death by his Mother Josefa Mansapit. Brothers Felix Cruz-Mansapit and Jesus Mansapit. Brother-in-laws Emeterio Lomarda and Juan Taijeron. Nephews Frank Fernandez, Emeterio Lomarda Jr., Scott Cruz, and Damion Cruz.
