Joe Teofilo Obituary

Joe Fa’afetai Teofilo, age 50

Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Friend to all.

Joe came into this world on April 11, 1968 in Carson, California to Fa’afetai Teofilo and Iokapeta Teofilo.  He immediately filled the world with his love and smile. The oldest of four, Joe led his brother SeuSeu Teofilo (Keisha Closs, Son Xavier Teofilo, and daugter Amarre Freda Teofilo) and sisters Freda Teofilo (deceased) and Arlene Teofilo (son Nu’utai Vivao & Charina Delossantos; granddaughter Tinei Vivao) into mischief all over the world, wherever his father was stationed at the time. He graduated from Fauquier High of Warrenton, Virginia in 1986.

Joe married the love of his life, Amy, on May 23, 1997 in Tacoma, WA. They were able to fulfill every one of the vows they made to each other. The foundation of their marriage was the laughter that they shared every day.  On that day he also became son to John and Deborah Campton and brother to Marion Ann Campton.

Joe was a proud father. He is survived by Adreanna Maulupe, Kyarsten Welch (Dustin Corwin), Konner Teofilo, Jasmine Teofilo, as well as his constant Barky companion B-wags.  He was also considered a Dad, Uncle, and Brother to many cherished friends that became family.

Joe loved movies, music, video games, and the Seahawks. Go Hawks! His greatest love was reserved for his family. Full of inappropriate jokes at the most inappropriate moments, Joe tried his hardest to connect with those around him and fill the world with laughter.

Joe’s viewing will be held at Dryer Mortuary, 220 134th St S, Tacoma, WA 98444, from 4-8 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018.

Joe’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 beginning at 12pm, Renton First United Methodist Church, 2201 NE 4th St, Renton, WA 98056, fellowship immediately following.
