Herbert George Ludeman died on November 13, 2018. He was just 69 years old. Born to Warren and Marjorie Ludeman in the spring of 1949, he spent his childhood as most do by playing games and going slightly too fast. Herb transitioned that youthful energy into a love of driving fast, but he also spent afternoons trying to choose between a round of golf, bowling, or sitting down for a classic western. Deeply opinionated with a lifetime of luck to be right nine times out of ten, he loved to talk to people and develop friendships. His working life was spent in the Army serving in Vietnam and then along the U.S. railway lines as a railroad supervisor. He will continue to be loved by his beloved wife Linda; his son; two beautiful daughters; three stepsons; the many grandchildren that called him “Grandpa Herb”; his sweet great grandchildren; his kind brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a devoted sister. Remembrances to support others who have served as Herb did should be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. In recognition of his service to our country Herbert will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery at 2pm on Monday November 26th, 2018.
