Frank was a true soldier and a Die Hard Marine. He loved to go hunting, fishing, and shooting guns. He was an expert marksman in both rifle and pistols whom enjoyed teaching, building, cleaning, and selling off his work. He loved being a pool shark, playing poker, running marathons, and even building or working on cars/trucks. He also loved to listen to music especially his island jams, and watching football games which predominantly consisted of rooting for the Hawks. Frank was the epitome of an amazing man, and truly loved protecting all his girls.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Patsy Cruz Fernandez. Daughters Francine and Tiffany Fernandez. Granddaughter Keilani Bertomeu. Brother Rob (Mae) Fernandez. Sister Mercy (Greg) Castro. Sister in law Lavina Pascua Fernandez. Brother in laws Anthony (Donna) Cruz, Alex (Tabitha) Cruz, Arther (Catherine) Cruz, and James (Nina) Lomarda. Sister in laws Luzminda (Gordon) Wallace, Natalie (Gary) Schaefer, and Janice Cruz. Mother in Law Maria Cruz Garrido. Uncle Joe (Kathryn) Cruz. Aunties Cecilia Lomarda and Rosa Taijeron. With many more Nephews, Nieces, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Frank is preceded in death by his Father Francisco San Augustin, Brother Joseph Fernandez, Grandmothers Ana San Augustin and Ana Meno Concepcion, and Grandfathers Jose L. Fernandez, and Jose Cruz Concepcion.

Services are for Frank will be held on Monday November 27, 2017 Viewing and Rosary 4PM-8PM at Weeks’ Dryer Mortuary. Funeral Service on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Tahoma National Cemetery.
