July 20, 1996 - September 9, 2017 Dakota resident of Tacoma Washington, born in Lakewood Washington on July 20th 1996 to Jennifer Carson of Tacoma Washington and Sunny Smith of Sumner Washington. Dakota loved playing football, camping, reading and singing. Dakota loved the ocean he was so determined to learn how to swim that he taught himself how to swim. His love for reading was huge he was able to read at least fourteen books in a week with ease. According to his mother Jennifer although he was not always in tune Dakota loved to sing. Dakota will be missed deeply and will always be in our hearts and memories. Dakota is survived by his children; James William Thompson-Smith, Adelle Alana Smith, parents; Jennifer (Martin) Carson, Sunny (Jennifer) Smith, sister; Autum Michelle Hall, grandparents; Terrance (Linda) Bowers, Sherri (Greg) Bryant, Cynthia Bastian and Maria Smith. Dakota is preceded by grandfather; Carl Smith, aunt; Jessica Bryant A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 1:00pm at The Cabana at Bryn-Mar Village Apartments 1807 South 82nd. Street Tacoma, Washington 98408
