Clyde L. Brotherton Sr. 1942 Jan. 31, 2018 Born in Wichita, KS, moved to WA state in 1958 as a 16 year old kid to work during the summer at the request of his older brother. That summer came and went but not Clyde, Washington state became his home. After graduating from F.W. West in Chehalis, and a 4 year enlistment in the Air Navy, Clyde joined the Laborers Union located in Tacoma, WA. Retiring after 30 years in 2000, Clyde's focus was family, his old cars, and all sorts of events related to them. In 2003 at the age of 60, Clyde accepted Christ as his Lord thus adding a new dimension to his life. Then on February 14, 2004, married Elizabeth McKencie which added the love factor to his life. Clyde easily combined the 2 families and never favored one over the other. He was an active member in the Grafitti Car Club, the poker group at the senior center and an active member of Bethany Baptist Church. Clyde leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, son Clyde Jr., daughter Kathy Murphy, grandchildren Aaron, Amanda, Brittany, Jared, Micah, their spouses and 8 great-grandchildren along with Elizabeth's son Paul, daughter Ruth, grandchildren Hannah, Andrew, Riley, and Luke.
